Amy Geils, PT MS is the owner of The Streamlined Office LLC. The company was born in 2014 and is based on the saying “Do What You Love and Love What You Do”! Amy has a passion and natural gift for finding “systems” that save time and help get things done efficiently and effectively.
Amy has always dreamed of owning her own business; one that focuses on helping others and teaching people how they can solve their own problems with organization and time management. The epiphany of making a career out of her natural talents arose in the fall of 2013. A good friend provided the encouragement that there are, in fact, people who would appreciate working with someone who could help them reduce the stress and overwhelm they feel by helping them become organized using time management and productivity skills.
Shortly thereafter, Amy found the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO); a group of like-minded women who shared her passion for all things organized. Although Amy’s business departs from the typical household organizing often associated with NAPO, she has been actively involved in the chapter as the Director of Technology and the Social Media Chairperson. Her contributions include the launching of the new NAPO AZ website in 2015 for which she earned the President’s award for her time and dedication. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in digitizing all of the Board documents and updating job descriptions and creating task lists for all of the Board positions. As Social Media chair, she has helped to clarify and streamline the process for content submission as well as automate postings and events to gain social media recognition for the chapter.
Amy has completed coursework at Mesa Community College towards becoming a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Building her own business has created proficiency with WordPress Website Design, Social Media marketing, the use of CRM systems, digital newsletter distribution and public speaking in addition to hands-on organizing services for residential and business offices.
Amy is knowledgeable, administrative, conscientious, compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented; traits her clients appreciate. She has a passion for learning and teaching and takes the time to listen to people’s problems in order to help them find a solution that meets their needs. After working with Amy, her clients say things like
“I don’t know why I waited so long to do this!”
“I LOVE working in my office now!”
“It’s like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders”
